Kama Sushi is an epic sushi spot, especially for happy hour from 5:00-6:30pm everyday! The classics are great, like salmon, yellowtail, and hamanchi, but also be sure to check out their raw scallops, salmon tataki, and C27 roll that we LOVED.

I've eaten at this place many times as it is very close to my apartment. Most of the times it's been fine; a couple of times I've questioned how fresh and clean their service and food is. Tonight was the worst and I will not ever eat here again.
I ordered takeout - a rainbow roll and veggie gyoza. I ate the gyoza, fine. I started eating the rainbow roll and noticed it was not fresh, I kept eating. The rest tasted slimy, fishy and old. I spit it out and am now feeling sick to my stomach. Fish is not something you would mess with the freshness of. I threw the whole roll in the trash and called to complain, explaining I eat at their place almost 1 time a week.
The lady who answered the phone did not even say sorry or offer to give me my money back. She said that their fish is each day (not true. This looked and tasted like I was sitting for days) and told me she hopes I come back sometime soon.
Disgusting and not how you treat a customer who is afraid they are going to get food poisoning from your food. Will never go here again and suggest if you do; you make sure it's fresh and tastes right. -

I had a good time at Kama. The booths are very private, and the food was good. I had the karaage ramen, which I enjoyed. Other people in my group had sushi, which looked great.
The sushi came out much later than the ramen. When we asked our server about this, she gave us complimentary sake to make up for it. -

Good happy hour and check in deals and generous portion of fish in the maki, but the rice and fish were just ok. The rice was too strongly seasoned and overpowered the rest of the rolls, so I ended up removing a lot of it. The salmon in my salmon avocado roll was weirdly crunchy? I liked the sweet potato maki, but that shouldn't really be the highlight.

The food was fresh and not too high priced. The serving area is small but that lends itself to being a more personable experience with wait staff. Would definitely go there again!
